Food List



Part of my 50 day challenge is to change my body. Above is the list of food and drink my spirit guides have given me to eat during this time. I am allowed as much of any of these things as I want, but anything off this list, while it's not forbidden, I shouldn't waste a lot of time or energy on trying to obtain or consume them.

While I'm not censored in the quantity of these approved foods I eat, I am required the following each day...

  • 3 liters of water (see the water challenge)
  • 3 cups of green tea that have steeped for 20 minutes
  • 6oz of greek yogurt
  • and at each meal I choose at least three different variety of fruits and vegetables from the lists above trying to choose from different color groups whenever possible.
The vitamins I am taking are
  • Fish oil
  • B-12 (sublingual - very important)
  • Acidophilus
  • L-Arginine
  • Calcium
  • Vitamin E
A note about organic produce -

I am a HUGE proponent of organic meat and produce. I think how we handle the food in this day and age is disgraceful and in many ways dangerous. However, I also believe that each person has to come to a decision about this for themselves and I would encourage you to research what you are eating so you can at the very least make an informed decision.

What I would like to say is that organic can be found more and more these days within a moderate budget and it is well worth the extra expenditure. You will absolutely notice a difference in not only the taste of the food, but in how the nutrients infuse your body. I will spare you my lecture on the ethical treatment of animals, but do consider how we treat these animals and that you then eat them after they've been fed very questionable feed, often laden with pesticides and shot full of antibiotics in many cases.

If you can go organic, please do, but as for the list above, I do have raspberries on my list specifically organic because they tend to be high in pesticide residue naturally and are hard to clean just because of they're exterior flesh. So organic on these berries is more important than simply the nutrients gained from the berries themselves.
